Grace & Company over the next week. As reported by the Missoulan, W.R. Grace & Co., executives will end their defense argument before the Missoula court next Wednesday. W.R. Attorneys, for the federal government, are prosecuting four W.R. Grace executives for knowingly exposing mine workers and residents of the town of Libby to harmful asbestos fibers. W.R. Grace mined vermiculite in the town of Libby for decades. Injury attorneys assert company executives for knowing asbestos materials were present in the mine and failed to protect workers from the harmful toxin. Numerous workers and residents have contracted asbestos related illnesses, like asbestosis and have also died from mesothelioma lung cancer. Direct and secondary exposure to friable asbestos is not safe at any level and causes fatal mesothelioma cancers.
