New York Mesothelioma Lawyers News: Construction Guidelines Increase Asbestos Risks Awareness
New guidelines help raise awareness about risks associated with asbestos exposure in the workplace.
Mesothelioma Cancer News (New York) – New construction guidelines released by the World Bank are reportedly helping to raise awareness about workplace asbestos exposure. As reported on PRWEB, the World Bank recently finalized the guidelines to deter contractors from using asbestos materials for construction or building projects, particularly in developing countries, the largest users of these materials.
Attorney Joseph W. Belluck, a partner with the New York based law firm Belluck & Fox, LLP, which handles cases for individuals who’ve sustained injuries as a result of asbestos exposure, is quoted in the press release as stating, “The World Bank’s new guidelines remind us that asbestos is still present in some construction materials… And once again we’re reminded of the importance of limiting hazardous exposure to asbestos.”
