Asbestos - Laryngeal cancer
Dallas, TX: Asbestos is a killer for sure. People have been affected with asbestos fiber and commonly those who have been exposed to these fibers have contracted asbestosis, mesothelioma cancer, lung asbestos cancer, pleural mesothelioma cancer, peritoneal mesothelioma or pericardial mesothelioma cancer.
The studies show the link between asbestos is further linked to other forms of cancer as well. Laryngeal cancer. Though unconfirmed, yet signs show the possible link between the two. Research and studies are in progress to signify that asbestos exposure is one of the major causes. So far, it has been proved that the exposure of asbestos can elevate a person’s risk towards the development of laryngeal cancer.
Asbestos is an invisible killer, that cannot be seen, nor be smelled, and has no taste. Smoking, excessive drinking of alcohol, and exposure to asbestos, are the major risk factors of causing the laryngeal cancer.
In both, the mesothelioma cancer and the Laryngeal cancer, the signs and symptoms are the same and so is the treatment. The treatment all cases of cancer may differ on account of degree of damage, location and the by cancerous cell that is developed.
The scientific evidence proves that the exposure to asbestos causes cancers of the larynx, stomach, colon and even of the rectum. The study, is not yet complete. The research is still continuing towards the conclusive results of proving the interference of asbestos in the laryngeal cancer.
