Improved Cancer Care Coming to North Texas

The UT Southwestern Medical Center has received a National Cancer Institute designation along with $7 million which will go towards improved cancer care options. Patients of the center will have first access to the most promising and newest medical discoveries available along with clinical trials not offered at other facilities. Doctors at UT Southwestern have also cultivated the largest lung cancer cell line in the world. Within the collection cells they hope to find the answer to lung cancer.
