Physicians who study lung cancer survivors have found that Dyspnoea, or shortness of breath, is one of the most common and debilitating long-term symptoms. Researchers believe that the identification and early intervention of modifiable Dyspnoea risk factors, such as lack of physical activity and depression, could result in improved breathlessness for this population. Further study will help clinicians target more effective post-treatment rehabilitation strategies for lung cancer survivors.
