Pea Plant in Man’s Lung Misdiagnosed as Lung Cancer

Lung cancer is one of the deadliest forms of the disease. 75-year-old, Ron Sveden, was relieved this week to learn that his lung cancer diagnosis was incorrect. Ron was diagnosed with lung cancer after doctors noticed a small dark mass in his lung on an X-ray. Following a trip to the ER for a collapsed lung and pneumonia, doctors discovered that the growth was a pea which had sprouted in his lung. It is reported that although unusual, it is not uncommon for items to be inhaled without knowledge.
