Investigation: Pain clinics in Florida outnumber McDonald’s restaurants

03/01/2011 // Greensboro, NC, USA // Personal Injury Lawyers News // Nicole Howley
“According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, there are 1,167 registered pain clinics in the state. There are only 860 McDonald’s restaurants, according to one company website. There are 551 Burger King restaurants in Florida, using the company’s restaurant locator,” reported ABC Action News. This is just shocking and sad. There is a huge prescription drug issue in Florida, and I believe these “pill mills” are a huge part of the problem.
