Airport body scanners expose travelers to more radiation then reported

03/16/2011 // Greensboro, NC, USA // Personal Injury Lawyers News // Nicole Howley
“Exposure to ionizing radiation can detach electrons from their atomic orbit in our bodies, which can lead to cells behaving abnormally and possibly cause cancer. Children, unborn babies as well as frequent flyers such as pilots and flight attendants are more likely to have negative health effects from radiation exposure,” stated Discovery News. I am concerned for the safety of frequent flyers and pilots who are regularly scanned. Repeated radiation exposure can’t be good for anyone.
